Take Me Home!

Almighty God, to whom all hearts are open, all desires known, and from whom no secrets are hidden; Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love you, and worthily magnify your holy name; through Christ our Lord. Amen

Living God, your Son made himself known in the breaking of bread: Open the eyes of our faith, that we may see him in all his redeeming work; who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Welcome to the Winnie Page!

Amended 27th December 2003

Theology and Faith questions addressed from the four/fore(?) pawed perspective. In a spiritual sense do you feel yourself barking up the wrong tree? Is the hunger inside left unsatisfied by dry complete food served out to you day by day? Just how many roads must a dog walk down before we call him a dog? If these are the questions that you chew on maybe the curate assistant (N.S.M.) of St. Galls  can help..

Is the choke chain of life gripping too hard! Do you find yourself pulled this way and that?  Pushing forward but always feeling held back by those around you?  Those who insist you remain just another nose in the crowd? Well, settle down for a good scratch and we shall itch that spot together.

Try some ball therapy

Just watch the ball bouncing along. Let go that desire to get up and chase. Be released from the desire to grab and chew. Just watch the ball and relax. A dog at peace in their basket is a dog at peace with the world.

"Anyone who is among the living has hope - even a live dog is better off than a dead lion."

Ecclesiates 9 verse 4

Editors Note: Winnie the Black lab was a great enthusiast when it came to life. She never did get through the "puppy stage"  and was famous for her exuberant welcomes to all who came through the door. Her hobbies included bone appreciation and body surfing at which she was an accomplished expert. At the age of eight and three quarters she passed away on the morning of the 23rd December 2003. Much missed by her family and friends.
